This weekend will be facilitated by a dear teacher and elder, Laurence Cole, who has many years experience in this work, as well as leading community singing around the country.

This is an exploratory and experiential class where we’ll begin to unpack Francis Weller’s 5 Gates of Grief from The Wild Edge of Sorrow.
In this class we will also look at the 6th Gate: The harms we have caused.
This is an opportunity to explore the multitude of ways grief shows up outside of grief that we have been taught is ‘acceptable.’
Together we will begin to unfurl our understanding of grief from personal to collective.
